Teamsites

Een teamsite is een website die geschikt is voor het onderling delen van informatie. De UU biedt hiervoor momenteel verschillende opties: Teams en Sharepoint.

Teams

Een Teams-omgeving is vooral geschikt om samen te werken met een groep mensen. Binnen Teams kun je bijvoorbeeld videovergaderen, chatten, en bestanden delen. Teams kun je gebruiken via een app, die standaard aanwezig is op UU Windows-computers. Je kunt Teams ook benaderen via een webversie. Sharepoint

Sharepoint is een platform dat vooral geschikt is om veel informatie op te slaan en te delen. Verwarrend genoeg worden Sharepoint-sites ook wel Teamsites genoemd. Een Sharepoint-site benader je via een webbrowser; je kunt een Sharepoint-site ook koppelen aan een Teams-omgeving, zodat de bestanden daar gemakkelijk beschikbaar zijn. Het beheer van een Sharepoint-site is complexer dan dat van een Teams-omgeving, maar biedt ook meer mogelijkheden. Een Sharepoint-site moet je aanvragen.
