Almost all UU computer equipment is fitted with a silver label bearing the UU number (UU0XXXXX). This unique number is used to register the location in a dedicatd database (CMDB). In case of malfunctions, ITS can trace equipment (report malfunctions via the ITS Selfservicedesk of through extension 4500). CMDB also provides a handy overview of equipment in within the UU.
