Secure print jobs on multifunctionals

You can set a personal PIN code for print jobs on Xerox multifunctionals. A print job will be printed only after you have entered your code on the printer.

Setting the PIN code

• Make sure you have installed the correct printer.
• Open the Printing preferences screen for the printer.
• Select the tab Paper/Output.
• For Job Type select Secure Print.
• Click Setup… and enter your PIN code twice.
• Close the preferences screen.

Executing a print job

You can send your print job to the printer at any time.
To have your print job executed on the printer follow these steps:

• If necessary, select the printing queue.
• On the graphical interface, select your print job (identified by your Solis-id).
• Select Vrijgeven to have your job printed, or Verwijderen to have your job cancelled.
• Enter your PIN code on the numerical keypad, then press Invoeren on the graphical interface.
• The printer will execute all your print jobs currently in the queue.
