Software

Nederlands In het algemeen is het niet toegestaan (en niet verstandig) om software zelf te downloaden en te installeren. Software wordt beschikbaar gemaakt via ITS. Op Windows-machines kunt u een groot aantal software-pakketten installeren via de applicatie Software Center. Veel applicaties zijn ook beschikbaar via SolisWorkspace (zie ook de bijbehorende FAQ). Specialistische software, waarop licenties van kracht zijn, wordt alleen beschikbaar gesteld aan ICT-contactpersonen binnen onderzoeksgroepen. English In general it is not allowed (and not wise) to download and install software. Software is made available through ITS. On Windows machines you can use the Software Center application to install many software packages. Many applications are also available in SolisWorkspace (see the FAQ).
